HANDY CLOTHES SHOPPING LIST

Like any other kind of shopping, a checklist will help to keep you on target.

Have you seen the movie “The Blind Side”? It’s the story of Leigh Anne Tuohy, a wealthy woman who becomes a legal guardian to a young man from the projects who goes by the moniker ‘Big Mike’. It’s based on a true story and if you haven’t seen it, it’s worth a viewing. There is a scene in the movie where Leigh Anne takes Mike to a shop to find some new clothes—a Big and Tall store because Mike is… well, big and tall. She says to him: “Well, one thing I know about shopping is that if you don’t absolutely love it in the store, you won’t wear it. The store is, where you like it best. So before you choose something, think of yourself wearing it and say to yourself: Is this me?” Good advice.

When you’re going clothes shopping, it’s best if you go with a goal in mind. Why? Because otherwise, the distractions are many and the rabbit holes are everywhere. If you’re out shopping for a new dress for a special event, stay focused. Don’t go into the Apple store to have a ‘quick peek’ at the new rose gold phone. Don’t run into the Coach store, to see ‘what’s new’.

THE IMPORTANCE OF WINDOW DISPLAYS

store front
Online, we shop using websites. If the site is appealing and attractive, we go in and look around. Much like in real life, if we see a store that draws us in, we will venture in to see more.

As a retail store, your window displays are the most important marketing tool you have at your disposal. They will make someone a passer-by, enter your store and become a customer or ignore you entirely.

These days, retailers are under a lot of pressure to attract and keep customers coming into their stores when shopping from home has become so convenient and price competitive.

Redefining everything we ever thought about window shopping, these creative window displays will stop anyone in their tracks. As a mix of art, fashion, design and marketing, they not only have to quickly grab our attention they must compel us to enter a store. By giving people an experience, these displays also have the important duty of helping define a brand’s image.

TWELVE REASONS TO WEAR ALL BLACK

black coat

Why do some people wear all black?

Do you know someone that often wears all black?   Do you think they are a ninja? Too lazy to do laundry?

Basically, the concept of wearing all black is more like a mindset, for minimalists like myself. Why do some of us often wear all black?

It’s the same as how some people prefer red over yellow or orange over blue. We just prefer black.

Here’s reasons why black works so well:
